Retail Coordinator - Denpasar (Bali)

Responsibilities:
  • Visual Merchandising
  • Establish and execute SEA marketing calendar that aligns all distributors to key global marketing initiatives
  • Establish a VM Standards and Training Manual, with all VM activity created through the marketing calendar
  • Establish and ensure a consistent message is communicated within all Oakley stores throughout SEA
  • Provide strong leadership and direction in regards to merchandising in all stores
  • Ensure all Visual Merchandising standards and techniques implemented in store are consistent with and reflect the Oakley brand
  • Provide training direction to all distributors on VM presentation and merchandising techniques to increase sales and maintain standards in store
  • Source new merchandising techniques and implement them into the Oakley business throughout SEA
  • Ensure seasonal initiatives are implemented into stores and clearly communicated to all areas of the business
  • Assist distributors in the marketing and execution of marketing initiatives within the region
  • Manage the production and distribution of all POP collateral to distributors
  • Be a part of all new store store openings and store development planning processes
  • Develop a clear communication and relationship with the Global Trade Marketing Team
  • Retail Operations
  • Develop strategies to achieve profitable expansion of Oakley retail in SEA
  • Analyse competitor activity and identify any strategies or tactics that may impact company market share.  Establish processes to combat
  • Work with franchise partners and APAC team to coordinate the seasonal planning process in line with company goals
  • Continually identify ways to drive sales at all business levels to achieve sales growth
  • Review weekly, monthly and seasonal sales trends and KPI's to identify opportunities to further maximise and drive sales proactively
  • Develop relationships with franchise partners and key stakeholders including Oakley Inc. staff
  • Prepare presentations as required
  • Training
  • Align all franchise retail staff to global training initiatives and standards, assist with implementation, execution and evaluation
  • Instill in the retail staff the meaning and importance of customer service
  • Ensure consistent reinforcement of correct retail practice and training of all staff
  • Promote and monitor quality service among staff through training and acting as a positive role model
  • Establish new employee retail inductions in conjunction with franchise partners
  • Organise quarterly product training sessions for all vertical retail staff
  • Develop tools to assist managers with training and counselling needs
  • Establish and maintain retail manuals and training methods on the following areas in retail
  • Product Knowledge (Optics & AFA)
  • Customer Service and selling skills
Requirements:
  • Previous relevant experience in the core/sport/lifestyle industry (two plus years)
  • Minimum Bachelor degree
  • Have the relevant business (i.e. financial) and commercial (i.e. sales) experience
  • Customer service skills and relationship building
  • Open communication (internally and externally)
  • Time management
  • Outstanding product and technical knowledge
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Strong retail experience
  • Exposure to development and execution of VM plans
  • Ability to travel internationally as required
  • Attention to detail
  • Computer literacy (Microsoft Office), esp Excel and Word
